Learning Objectives

In this workshop, you will engage with basic skills related to your iPad including:

  • exploration of the iOS (iDevice Operating System), navigation, settings, battery info, and built-in apps, as well as
  • viewing, downloading and testing out of useful apps.

Throughout our time together, I will model use of NETS-T and NETS-S when applicable, in the design and

delivery of Going Mobile professional development opportunities.

      • in Safari, there is a .com in the keyboard. Hold down .com to get other common endings
      • usually can skip the apostrophe in contractions. Auto-correct will add it.
      • if auto-correct word suggestion is word you are typing, can hit space to finish word 
      • click the .?123 & slide to a key to quickly select a key and switch back to ABC view.

    • Don't charge your iPad in a carrying case 
    • Lock your iPad when not in use
